Using a diversion fence is essential in controlling erosion and managing sediment during construction projects. In contrast, plastic sheeting does not allow water to flow through and can potentially lead to water accumulation and increased hydraulic pressure. This can compromise the effectiveness of the diversion system and increase the risk of erosion and sediment displacement.
